ENTERTAINMENT on the stage begins with performances from the best of the Wilts & Glos Standard's Cirencester Has Talent! In June, Cirencester Has Talent was launched and proved a great success unearthing a rich vein of talent, a selection of which will perform on stage at the Advent Festival. The performers are Christina Pitaway, Gabrielle Bolton, Abbie Drew, Katie Smith and Ann Martin. We are very grateful to them for giving up their time to entertain us.

The Countdown begins! More entertainment from Cirencester has Talent, and welcome to our Master of Ceremonies Vernon Harwood. The Baptist Church Band will lead the carol singing as we are joined by the Children's Lantern Parade and Salvation Army Band.
Children from Chesterton Primary, Cirencester Junior School, Siddington Primary School and Kemble Primary School will process from New Brewery Arts through the town to the Market Place. Three local artists, Norah Kennedy, Susan Early and Helen Lomberg have been working with the children to create lanterns from willow and paper which they will carry through the town, stopping on the way for carols.

The Town Council and Advent Committee are delighted to welcome Corporal Tsolakis from the Territorial Army Royal Gloucestershire Hussars to switch on the lights this year.

Good Night! All of those involved in planning and organising the Event hope that you have enjoyed the day. We would also like to thank everyone who gave their time to make the day a success.
